The idea of creating a website to celebrate the history and achievements of Combe Martin's Uncle Tom Cobley was that of Norman Sanders. Norman has always been very proud of his association with the Carnival float and he felt that, through the internet, it would be possible to provide a permanent record of this wonderful tradition.


Norman's godson, Mark, was called upon to put the ideas into reality following the success of his first website, The Barnstaple Gulls.
